Returns – Refunds
Geelong Candle Co. adheres to the guidelines set in place by CAV.
If you have placed an order you can cancel at any time PRIOR to your goods being made. Once made or started you cannot cancel. If you have paid by cash or bank deposit you will receive a full refund so long as your order has not been started. If you paid by eftpos or card you will receive a refund minus 2% for the processing fees. Afterpay and Zippay orders will be refunded minus 8% for the processing fees.
There are no refunds for change of mind. Ie not strong enough, wrong fragrance chosen etc. These are not reasons for a refund and do not make an item faulty.
Due to health regulations there are no refunds or exchanges on soap or body products.
All items are checked for chips cracks and breakage before purchase. If you find your candle does have a chip/crack etc please make contact within 3 days and we will exchange it for you. You will need to supply images of the damage. For non candle items – all goods are checked before you leave so please take care not to damage them accidentally.
Electricals come with a 3 month manufacturer warranty. If you have issues don’t hesitate to let me know.
Wax products will only be exchanged if deemed faulty. A melt that is the wrong fragrance or not strong enough or to too strong for your liking is not deemed faulty so please choose carefully.
All costs to return an item are to be borne by the purchaser. Once items have arrived safely to GCC. if they are deemed to be faulty you will be issued a credit for shipping the item back to us. Please ensure you forward a copy of the shipping documents.
